Look what we found today while taking our dog for a walk up the lane.
A 'Granny's Cloak' moth.
Quite startling with those big 'eye' markings.
It was on the road, so after taking the photo, I moved it over to the grassy footpath.

Was blog surfing and landed here. Can't say I'm a big fan of bugs but this one is mighty handsome.
